![]() ![]() Please advise on how I can successfully update my Adobe Reader (DC) v 11.0.10 on my Mac OS X 10.8.5. ![]() I'm unsure if Adobe Reader's update failure is due to 's lack of an update for Mac OS Intel 10.8.5. On Adobe's website I noticed that my exact operating system 10.8.5 is not included in the drop down menu, so I chose Mac OS Intel 10.8. Here is the link to the FF page where I check my plugins. However, I know the installation must have failed because when I go to FireFox check plugins, FF indicates that my Adobe Reader plugin is vulnerable ("Status") and says under "Action" that I should update it now. I go through all the steps listed on the help menu, and at the end of the installation, says that the installation was successful. ![]() I have gone to Adobe's website: and tried to update Adobe Reader DC while following all the instructions on the help menu. Settings seem to only save on an unpatched version however hold this status once patched. I'm unable to update Adobe Reader v 11.0.10 to the latest version on Mac OS X 10.8.5. Open Adobe Acrobat - Press command +, (or just go to Acrobat Pro DC > Preferences) - Go to Updater - Uncheck 'Automatically install updates' 4. ![]()
